The misunderstandings of consumers toward the LED lights

In the first place, t what kind of LED lights can replace the relative watts filament lamps? Because many filament lamps are only focus on the watts but not the lumen amount, in the long run, it affects the consumers and thus forms their purchasing habits in buying lamps. The technology of led lighting is different from the filament lamps, and the lightning effect of LED lights is increasing, therefore, the watt amount can’t represent the lumen amount. Some manufacturers will provide the distinct marks on the package such as LED lights to replace the 40W filament lamps in order to help consumers choose the right products.

The second misunderstanding toward it is that the higher power the led light bulbs are the brighter. However, it is wrong. In general, the higher luminous flux doesn’t mean the higher brightness, in fact, among the different power LED ordinary lights, the higher the lumen ones save more energy. For example, if it is the comparison of a 7W LED light and 8W LED light, suppose the lumen output of 7W light is higher than the 8W LED light, then, the 7W LED light saves more energy than the 8W LED light.
